The Pull of Destiny

This is a story about a boy who thought he had everything, a girl who had nothing and how they found all they ever wanted and more- with each other. Celsi Sawyer, a helpless romantic teenage girl who lives in the projects of East Harlem, is a financial aid student at Dalton and will never amount to anything, according to her abusive cousin. Jaded Luke Astor is a Legacy student at Dalton, heir to millions and, in the words of his father, is a royal screwup. Their paths cross by chance and when kind Celsi offers to help Luke work on his bucket list before his aneurysm operation, they slowly start falling for each other. But neither of them are prepared for the jealousy, hatred, love and pain that they will have to deal with before they can be happy. Destiny works in mysterious ways, but will it pull them closer together or further apart?
