My Silence is Broken

Why would I start out this way? It is, because we all carry scars. They are something everybody can identify with in Life. If I see a scar on you, I might be intrigued to ask, "Where did that scar come from?" The expression on your face after the question is a direct indication if the scar is hurtful, resentful, or just something that happened. All too often, we see physical scars- the ones that last and last and have long-term effects until it becomes evident to the bearer that internal scars can heal; the scars of disappointments, rejections, fears, and bitterness that rot at the bone and inhabits the marrow of my soul. This is who I was. "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way;" Isaiah 53:6
