From being sexually abused, homeless, beaten and nearly killed, abandoned and hated for who they are, losing children and parents, being overcome with addiction and depression, these women and girls suffer through so much but somehow find ways to better their lives, to find that deeper strength in themselves and rise up, show the world who they truly are and achieve great things despite all their pain and struggle.
