The Alabama Sky has witnessed many changes, but drones with semi-automatic torrents are one of the greatest. It's witnessed the introduction of the Graduation Exam; the test every senior has to take in order to learn what job and spouse their loving government has decided for them. Even though this exam has been around for generations; Lye Davis would rather commit treason than study for it.
While the results come in; the number of seniors upset with their results counts into the millions. But none could be angrier than Lye. When it's decided he's going to be a government official; assassination attempts start to take precedence over late homework assignments. Committing treason becomes a litter harder when the entire city keeps watch on your every move, and that's before the black birds are accounted for.
As the distinction between truth and comfort blur; Lye must work against a race for bragging rights of his murder. Thankfully bullet holes count as an excused absence.
