Jayson realizes how life can change in an instant. In a little under a year he had to endure so much loss, it's a wonder he can still function. First, the man he grew to love, admire, and revere was taken away suddenly. Then, he had to say goodbye to a childhood friend who was like a sister and finally, impregnated with his child his one true love decided to move on without him. A distraught and broken Jayson accepted the hand fate had dealt him. After many failed attempts to reach out to Delia and try to convince her to give him another chance he decided he loved her enough to let her go and he did. Jayson focused more of his attention on his daughter Layonni especially since he was the one who ran her mother out of town and out of her life.
